I learned a lesson this week that I absolutely loved. I want to give a big shout out and high five to all you “endurance athletes” out there. I’m not just referring to those that come in and crush it in the gym, rather those of you who just persevere and endure no matter what.
Major life events like births, deaths, loss of job, new job etc. have a way of completely turning our “normal” and routines upside down. However, these “Endurance athletes” put their head down and stay focused despite every reason to give up! They have those qualities of resilience that keep them moving forward. They stay focused on their goals despite much of the noise and chaos around them. They practice keeping a positive attitude, commitment, and willingness to ask for help. Endurance athletes treat problems as challenges and when they fall down they know they are getting back up!
Consider what you can do daily to help with your own resilience. How can you keep being an “endurance athlete”?
